Via a newly created hiking trail, the Goldach suspension bridge connects not only two municipalities, but also technical innovation and ecological awareness. With a span of 85 metres, it crosses the river and the protected floodplain landscape. Because it stands in a sensitive area, it was designed with bird protection in mind: black-and-white balls on the ropes prevent birds from colliding with them. FATZER supplied the full locked coil main suspension rope and 40 round strand ropes.
