Following the Raiders’ move from Oakland to Las Vegas, Allegiant Stadium protects fans from the desert heat and glaring Nevada sunshine. When it opened in 2020, it was the most technologically advanced stadium in the USA. It is fully covered by a new type of ETFE roof system with a lightweight rope structure that lets natural daylight into the stadium. The net roof spans around 30,000 square metres. FATZER supplied 100 full locked coil ropes and helped develop an installation concept tailored to the new roof design. The 65,000-seat football stadium was built within 36 months. In 2024, it hosted the Super Bowl.
