Wire ropes for sustainable raw material transport.

The conveyor system transports a key raw material used in aluminium production.

Up to 1,200 tonnes of bauxite per hour are transported directly from the mine to the coastal loading terminals without detours. The installation consists of a conveyor belt suspended on steel ropes and driven by a ropeway system, allowing it to cross rivers and roads with ease. The system is fully enclosed to protect the bauxite from weather exposure and contamination.
