New reversible aerial tramway with Funifor system
High-performance ropes for an innovative cable car concept.
The CabriO aerial tramway to Stanserhorn is the world’s first double-decker cable car.
Its open upper deck offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the lake below. Making this unique experience possible required a complete rethinking of ropeway technology: the track ropes were positioned alongside the cabin rather than above it, resulting in an unusually wide track gauge of five metres.
