The roughly ten-kilometre-long Cablebús Línea 1 connects the Cuautepec neighbourhood directly with the Indios Verdes transport hub.
Around 600,000 residents benefit from direct access to public transport, with convenient connections to bus and metro services. For many commuters, journey times are cut by more than half. The barrier-free 10-passenger gondola lift offers a comfortable and safe alternative to congested roads, significantly improving mobility in Cuautepec.
Cablebús is a ropeway system seamlessly integrated into Mexico City’s public transport network. Three lines are already in operation, with three more under development. Ranging from five to 15 kilometres in length, the lines connect the city’s outskirts with the centre and carry many millions of people every year.
