High-performance rope for Switzerland’s largest ski area.

The first D-Line in the Verbier 4 Vallées ski area replaces one of two existing 6-passenger gondola lifts built in 1984.

Since the mid-1980s, Verbier, the best-known resort in the 4 Vallées ski area, has been connected to Les Ruinettes by ropeways. The current year-round installation transports nearly twice as many passengers as its predecessor and serves as the main gateway to the ski area during the winter season. As the valley station is protected as a heritage building due to its architectural significance, the new ropeway station was integrated into the existing structure.
