INTEGRA-DATA - Data-Enabled High-Performance Rope for Ropeways

Torque-free. Built to last.

A defining feature of the full locked coil rope INTEGRA is its twisted construction. During the stranding process, the shaped wires are preformed into their final helical position. The result is a low-tension, torque-free rope that can be handled and guided smoothly during rope installation. The rope also incorporates copper conductors or optical fibres for data transmission, which are embedded during the stranding process.

Applications

Thanks to their high reliability and load-carrying capacity, these ropes are designed for use in aerial tramways as well as bicable and tricable gondola systems. The integrated data transmission capability eliminates the need for externally installed signal cables.

  • Low-tension and torque-free
  • Fast and safe rope installation
  • Reliable transmission of signals and data between stations
  • Extended service life and excellent wear resistance
