Less stretch. More predictability.
The core of the high-performance rope STABILO consists of a polyethylene core rod that is pressed between the strands, completely filling the internal space to form a supporting and stabilising structure. The strands remain separated and evenly spaced, helping to minimise stretch throughout the entire service life of the rope.
Applications
STABILO ropes are designed for ropeway systems where downtime for rope shortening must be limited to planned maintenance periods or kept to a minimum. Typical applications include carrying-hauling ropes for chairlifts and haulage ropes for aerial tramways.
